2. Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State

Everyone knows about the Florida State quarterback that is former Heisman winner Jameis Winston. The off-field issue-ridden QB seems to always be the subject of bad headlines, but it’s not always his fault — although the crab leg incident and profanity raid in the student union building were the exceptions.

He is a proven winner and would be a solid fit with the Browns if they could add another top receiver in the draft and maybe get some help in the run game as well.

Sure, you might be thinking that there is no possible way Winston drops to the No. 5 pick in the draft, but it sure seems like a possibility with his recent denial of stealing crab legs story. The potential is there to be the No. 1 pick and a future NFL star, but his personality issues may hold him back from being the top quarterback chosen.

With Manziel looking at a long season ahead of him, the Browns may want to explore other options and snag Winston if he’s still available at No. 5.

It’s likely the Browns would have to surrender far too much in order to get a top-three pick, so maybe the hope is that a quarterback will fall to five and they can ultimately get their guy.
