Bears receiver Josh Bellamy’s rapping has really confused teammate Kyle Long
Rap isn’t for everyone. Some hate the vulgar lyrics and promotion of violence; some heard the Black Eyed Peas one time, thought that’s what all rap sounded like, and have spent their whole life avoiding it.
For the Bears’ Kyle Long, rap seems to just be confusing. Or at least it is when it comes from teammate Josh Bellamy, who launched into his own version of Peewee Longway’s “Sneakin N Geekin” in the Bears’ locker room, and had the video of his incomprehensible verse posted on Twitter.
(Warning: NSFW language. This would have one of those “parental advisory” labels slapped on it if it was released as a single. Which it should be).
A couple of things:
1. That’s amazing.
2. Seriously, a translator who’s able to make sense of those lyrics should be paid good money.
3. LOOK AT JERMON BUSHROD ROCKING OUT TO THIS SONG
4. I’m guessing Kyle Long is not the only one who was totally confused by that.
5. SERIOUSLY, LOOK AT BUSHROD.
6. Maybe we shouldn’t even worry about what he was saying. Just let him do his thing. No one, clearly, can stop him from doing his thing.
7. BUSHROD!!!!
For the curious, here are the actual lyrics Bellamy was attempting to get across:
"Dumping backwood ashes / All on my louboutin Givenchy khakis / My n***a you sneakin or geekin what’s cracking / I keep finding little missiles all in your pad / Baby that ain’t sh** that just little candy / Some of the sh** white and some a lil’ sad / Sneakin n’ geekin he wanna be down just like Brandy / Sneakin geekin now he Bobbi Brown buying heavy"
Raise your hand if you knew that’s what he was saying. OK, put your hands down, you liars.
