The New York Giants struggled through another lackluster season in 2014, finishing 6-10 and third in the NFC East. They’re going to try and get back to their winning ways and contend in the NFC East in 2015, and it starts with a solid draft this year.

Last year Mayock had the New York Giants drafting tight end Eric Ebron out of North Carolina. Ebron ended up going to the Lions at the 10th pick, and with the 12th picks the Giants drafted LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham. Mayock originally had Beckham going to St. Louis at the No. 13 spot, so he got the player close to the pick and the Giants definitely work looking for a weapon for Eli Manning.

Beckham clearly paid off for the Giants and seems to be a star in the making. NFL fans everywhere all learned Beckham’s name after his incredible catch, and subsequently every impressive catch he made afterwards.

Mayock has the Giants taking Brandon Scherff with the No. 9 overall pick in the draft to help protect Eli Manning moving forward.

The Giants seemed to have addressed their offensive voids and will probably address defense in the draft. Their needs are particularly at offensive tackle, defensive tackle and safety. The Giants could look to address any of these early in the draft.

This year the New York Giants have the 10th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and should get a big name player.
