. Previous: -2th. Oakland Athletics. 21. team. 96. The Athletics have been somewhat of a victim of luck thus far, as they own a 0-4 record in 1-run games and a 0-3 mark in extra innings. That’s improve as the bullpen settles down a bit, with Dan Otero, Eric O’Flaherty, and R.J. Alvarez allowing too many hits. This could easily be a team sitting at 13-8 instead of 9-12.

Previous: +6th. Miami Marlins. 22. team. 82. Still a long way to go for the Marlins, but they finally started to show some of that hype that they had this winter. The loss of Christian Yelich and the lack of power from Marcell Ozuna this season are a bit concerning, but on the bright side Dee Gordon is proving to be more than a one-year wonder..

61. The Reds got dealt a rough blow when they lost Homer Bailey, but they appear to be playing with fire by trying to rehab his elbow ligament though. The Reds don’t have a ton of pitching depth as it is, but risk losing Bailey for all of 2015 and 2016 if this backfires.. . Previous: -1th. Cincinnati Reds. 23. team

8. Just when we were taking Archie Bradley, he takes a line drive off the side of his head and goes to the DL. The good news it that he appears to be okay and the move is just precautionary. At least the rest of the pitching staff has rebounded around him, including Rubby De La Rosa, who has posted a 3.20 ERA and a 20/3 K-BB ratio over his last 3 starts.. . Previous: +4th. Arizona Diamondbacks. 24. team

. Previous: +7th. San Francisco Giants. 25. team. 40. Madison Bumgarner finally turned i the performance we were waiting for, going 8 strong with 9 K’s against the Dodgers on Tuesday night. While the pitching has been solid, the offense remains asleep. The return of Hunter Pence could help that, but since he’s still a week away from even swinging a bat, the Giants will have to make due until mid-May.
