The Miami Dolphins are hungry for a top prospect in the NFL Draft, and they are looking at trading up to No. 10 overall to get him.

The NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the teams in the Top 10 are listening to the last second calls from teams trying to move up before things get underway. There will be draft day trades, but the trick is figuring out who is going to move around the draft order.

One team to keep an eye on are the Miami Dolphins, who pick No. 14 overall.

According to Jason La Canfora from CBSSports, the Miami Dolphins are looking at trading up — possibly with the St. Louis Rams — to draft DeVante Parker in the first-round.

There has been some speculation that the Dolphins re eyeing a move to draft Todd Gurley, but outside of finding a way to keep their current first-round pick and acquire an additional pick to draft Parker, this scenario is unlikely.

The St. Louis Rams would like to keep the No. 10 pick, but they’re building a great team through the draft, and adding more picks by moving back four spots and tacking on selections later in the draft. St. Louis can do a lot with the No. 10 pick, but this isn’t a deep first-round, and it’s a class being compared in many ways to how the NBA Draft operates.

Despite the NBA Draft having a full first-round, many scouts believe the first round is just in the lottery picks, while the players picked at the end of the first-round are actually fourth and fifth round equivalents in the NFL. There is still talent in the first-round, but if a team really wants someone — like Miami appears to — then moving up is a must.
