The NFL Draft is all about the moves that are made, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might end up making two first-round picks before the night is through.

The Tampa Bay Bay Buccaneers have the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, but that might not be the only pick that they end up making before the night is over. It was two years ago that the Buccaneers made two first-round selections, and it’s looking like they may do that again this year.
The Bucs will not be moving the No. 1 pick, but the could be moving back into the first-round by moving their second round pick in a package deal.
According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could trade back into the first round to take someone like Shane Ray or Randy Gregory by using the No. 34 overall pick to make it happen.
If the Buccaneers trade back into the first-round, it would be undoubtedly to select a pass rusher like Shane Ray or Randy Gregory. Those two players are Top 10 talents that have had their draft stock killed by off-field problems leading up to the draft that has sunk them on draft boards.
That’s good news for the Buccaneers though, as trading back into the first-round to draft a Top 10 player at the end of the night is a no brainer. The last time the Buccaneers traded back into the first-round, they drafted Doug Martin with the pick and he went on to have a stellar first season with the team.
It’s a new regime in town and this is the first real chance that Lovie Smith has to leave his mark and moving back into the first round for a franchise pass rusher is a move that makes sense.
