The New York Giants have reacted on twitter to their first round pick in the NFL draft 

Everyone loves the magic of the draft, it’s a night where fans all across the nation can get their hopes up that maybe, just maybe next year will be better. Giants fans aren’t a naive bunch of people, they knew that there was a lot of work to be done and their roster wasn’t going to be saved with one pick.

The build up to the draft started early today with everyone waiting by the TV holding their breath for the event to start. When the young men were walking up the gold carpet with their family you could sense how excited they were and that’s what the night is all about.

Yes it’s great when your team gets a superstar, but in the very worst case scenario you got to witness a bunch of kids react to their dreams coming true. They’ve been working for this moment for the majority of their lives, it’s not luck that got them here tonight!
