Jameis Winston draft pick broke the Bucs’ website
After drafting Jameis Winston number one overall, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers website crashed.
Thanks to their new number 3, the Bucs have a 404.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers website experienced a jump in traffic on Thursday night after the team drafted former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston first overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Apparently, the site couldn’t handle the increase in visitors and it crashed.
We’re guessing that fans were jumping online to order Winston’s new jersey when the Bucs announced that he would wear the number three. Hopefully the throwback creamsicle color is still in stock, but we highly doubt it.

Regardless, we think the Buccaneers might have to hop on Amazon and buy some additional servers to handle this increase. Winston is now their franchise quarterback and he comes with his fair share of attention, both from media and fans.
Winston, who did not travel to Chicago for the draft, celebrated with family and friends at home in Alabama.
The former Heisman Trophy winner and 2013 national champion, Winston was the fifth first overall pick in the team’s franchise history. After winning just two games in the 2014 season, the Bucs are hoping that Winston can lead them out of the gutter and in to the promised land – or at least to an over .500 record.
Hopefully for the Buccaneers it’s just websites he’s breaking and not team rules like he did at Florida State.
Oh, the story lines that will follow Winston for years and years to come. This is just the beginning, guys.
