It’s all sunshine and smiles for Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and the rest of the New England Patriots as they have arrived for the Kentucky Derby.

The Kentucky Derby features only the classiest of guests each year, as everyone wears their big hats and drinks a mint julep. With a sport fit for kings, dignitaries and other lavish guests, it’s only fitting that the Super Bowl Champions be in attendance to join in and watch a time-honored tradition.

As such, Julian Edelman posted a picture to his Twitter account that showed him alongside Tom Brady and other members of the New England Patriots on a runway in front of a private jet as the group made their way to Churchill Downs.

This isn’t the first time that Brady has attended the derby, as he has been spotted there in years past. He’s going to have quite the day, because after the race, he is expected to fly all the way to Las Vegas, to watch Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

Best of all, the team’s undisputed champion of partying Rob Gronkowski is in attendance too. If anyone on the Patriots is built like a horse, it’s Gronkowski.

They all decided to take the time to dress up like they’re about to be in a Ralph Lauren commercial.

Fans in attendance are expected to drink 127,000 mint juleps this weekend. With Gronkowski present, they might want to raise projections on those numbers. In fact, they might want to have a camera on Gronk at all times. There’s a strong chance he could be dancing, drinking and partying it up with some female derby goers during the event. For all the gambling at Churchill Downs, that’s probably the safest bet.

They just might want to put No. 87 in one of the outside starting gates and let him run wild.

The New England Patriots are having a blast since winning one of the most emotional Super Bowls in recent history.

The team is the crown jewel of the NFL and now they can witness the crown jewel of horse racing.
