NHL Playoffs 2015, Wild vs. Blackhawks Game 1 live stream: Watch online
By Josh Hill
The NHL Playoffs are on to the second round and the for the third straight year we’re getting a Wild vs. Blackhawks matchup.
Each of the last two years, the Minnesota Wild have made strides with their young roster but in both seasons their year ended with losses to the Chicago Blackhawks in the postseason. It’s been progressive for the Wild though, as they lost in the first-round to the Blackhawks in 2013 and lasted until the second-round in 2014 before Chicago knocked them out.
Minnesota was very productive in their 2014 loss to the Blackhawks, but it was still a loss. That’s progress and it’s something that the Wild are hoping they can build on. Chicago, on the other hand, are trying to become a true dynasty and win yet another Stanley Cup.
It’s been two Stanley Cups in the last four years for the Blackhawks and a win this year would give them three in five. That’s incredible for Chicago and it’s what has motivated them thus far in the postseason the get past Nashville and will their way to a lucrative spot in the Western Conference.
This is going to be one of the best series of the NHL Playoffs and it all gets started tonight.
