With the fight of the century just about 24 hours away, when will Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao get together for the weigh-in?
After what seems to have been the longest wait ever, Saturday night we will finally see Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao step into the boxing ring against one another. Two of the best fighters of our generation will get together, and no doubt boxing fans all over the world will be glued to their television screens.
The long wait for this fight began to end earlier this year when Mayweather and Pacquiao happened to run into one another at a Miami Heat game. From there, the two met up at a nearby hotel and the negotiations commenced from there. While there were some bumps in the road to begin with, eventually they were able to get things on the same page and the fight was scheduled for May 2.
Of course, though, before these two get into the ring with each other, they must first take part in the weigh-in portion. For the title to be on the line, both fighters must be able to make the proper weight, which generally isn’t a problem with either of these two.
So, that said, when will the weigh-ins for this fight take place?
Well, the weigh-ins will happen Friday afternoon at 6 PM ET at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the same venue where the fight will be taking place. You can watch it live on HBO, and you can also stream it on WatchESPN. SportsCenter should have full coverage of the festivities as well.
