The NBA Playoffs wrapped up their first round with a classic Game 7 showdown, but the final seconds of the game featured an amazing Gregg Popovich.

The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers played an absolutely classic Game 7 in the first-round of the postseason and we were gifted with more than a few moments of sheer awesomeness. There was Chris Paul coming back in after an early injury to  lead the Clippers to an insane game, Tim Duncan and the Spurs were lights out for most of the game and we saw plenty of Doc Rivers shouting.

But Gregg Popovich was the real MVP, as he was very visible in the final moments of the game.

When Tim Duncan fouled his Chris Paul with under 15-seconds left in the game, allowing Los Angeles to take a lead that wouldn’t be given up, Gregg Popovich showed his displeasure with what had happened.

Of course, this was topped a few minutes later when the Clippers clock operator buzzed the end of the game too soon and Popovich blew his lid. This was more low key, but it showed just how disgusted Popovich was with the way the end of the game was handled and how he’s probably going to come back next year even more determined than he was this year.

Thanks, Los Angeles.
