Just a few seasons ago, drafting NFL rookies in your fantasy football league was a risky strategy that was best avoided since rarely were their numbers every worth where they went in fantasy drafts. However, the last few years that situation has totally changed as NFL-ready rookies have been the difference-makers in fantasy football leagues in their first year in the League. This season, finding the right rookies will again be a key to fantasy success, so let’s look at the Top 10 Fantasy Football Rookie Sleepers who have been picked in the first three rounds of the NFL draft.

Drafting rookies still comes with risk, but after the first two nights of the NFL draft, here’s where I see the rookie values heading into the 2015 season.

10. Jaelen Strong-WR-Houston Texans

The Texans looked to replace Andre Johnson with their third-round pick as they traded up with the Jets to take Jaelen Strong out of Arizona State. Strong will be a big downfield target for either Ryan Mallett or Brian Hoyer.

Strong doesn’t have great short-game skills but he can definitely be a nice home-run threat across from DeAndre Hopkins who will step in as the team’s top receiver after Johnson headed to Indianapolis as a free agent this offseason.

Strong’s QB situation does limit his upside, though, so he’s either a late-round flier or someone to watch for in the first few weeks of the season.  He is definitely a sleeper worth knowing about, though, since he has opportunity in front of him as he heads from Arizona State to the Houston Texans.
