Dynasty League Rookie QB Rankings

This is a weak quarterback class. Besides the top 2 quarterbacks (Winston and Mariota) there really isn’t much depth at the position this year. Winston is my top rookie quarterback in dynasty because he’s going into a good situation where he is paired up with a young stud wide receiver in Mike Evans. Winston will also have a lot of talent lined up with him in the backfield with Doug Martin and Charles Sims. Mariota’s ability to run will help him be fantasy relevant during the early years of his career while he develops. We don’t know how many more seasons Drew Brees will be with the Saints, and there’s a good possibility the Saints will try and trade him next year to get his large salary off the books. The possibility of Brees being moved next season gives Garrett Grayson a little bit of value since he could be the heir apparent of a team that is stocked with talent. Bryce Petty is going to battle Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting QB role for the New York Jets. More than likely Petty will be a backup this season. Petty will have a better opportunity to win the starting QB job next season. Bryce Petty and Garrett Grayson are two QBs that are good to stash at the end of your roster to see what happens with their situation in the future.

The rankings are a guide to help you make the proper selections in your rookie drafts. If there is a player you like more than I do, then select them, because you have to get your guys.
