It looks like Jameis Winston is doing his best to get off on the right foot with his new teammates. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ rookie quarterback arrived early on Friday morning to greet all of his fellow rookies as they arrived at the Bucs’ practice facility, according to the NFL Network. He then proceeded to bro-hug them all, one by one.

Winston, the 2013 Heisman trophy winner and national champion at Florida State, was the first overall selection by the Bucs in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Despite his athletic prowess and accolades, Winston has found himself at the center of a few off-the-field controversies, including a sexual assault case at Florida State and a crab legs theft charge at a Florida supermarket chain.

Despite the fact that it’s a small sample size, it seems as though Winston is doing his best to put the past behind him and become the franchise quarterback that the Bucs desperately need.

The best part of this video is Jameis’ commentary on the outfits his fellow teammates are wearing. Those observation skills will come in handy when he’s under center in just a few short months.
