player. 94. <p>Tony Amonte played two years for Boston University after the New York Rangers made him the No. 68 pick in the 1988 draft and by the time he made his debut as a 21-year-old rookie, a star was born. Amonte finished second in the Calder after he had 35 goals and 69 points.</p> <p>He followed up his rookie campaign with a 76-point season but two years later he was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks for Stephane Matteau and Brian Noonan and Amonte would go on to play in five All-Star games in his nine-year tenure in Chicago. Amonte had six straight 30-goal seasons in Chicago to give him eight for his career, including three seasons with at least 40 goals.</p> <p>Amonte scored 541 points in 627 games for the Blackhawks playing with Phoenix, Philadelphia and Calgary to finish his 15-year career.
