Los Angeles Clippers backup point guard Austin Rivers is really coming into his own lately and it looks like the Houston Rockets’ defense found that out the hard way.

There was a time when Austin Rivers was thought to be one of the biggest busts in recent memory as a former No. 10 overall pick. However, the Los Angeles Clippers‘ point guard has stepped his game up big time in the 2015 NBA Playoffs, making defenses look absolutely silly.

Rivers had earned more playing time of late because of his ability to fill in for the injured Chris Paul with ease. He has taken advantage of the increase in minutes, granted by his father and head coach Doc Rivers, by averaging 17.3 points in he first three games of the team’s series against the Houston Rockets.

On Sunday night, the Clippers and Rockets faced off for Game 4 and Rivers was prepared to break some ankles.

Just watch as the third-year player weaved in and out of Rockets’ defenders on his way to one of the best highlights of his young career.

He made it look so darn easy, even making the floater over a much taller Dwight Howard. Rivers might not be a starting-caliber point guard in the league just yet, but given the right situation and a little more experience and results, he will make some team very happy as a bargain starter one day.

Rivers is making a name for himself this postseason as he is a big reason the Clippers are up 2-to-1 currently over the Rockets.

It’s hard to believe I even just said that.
