DeAndre Jordan was getting hacked again, but the refs really tried to avoid making the call.

Despite the fact that many of the NBA’s best players are involved, a large portion of the second round series in the NBA Playoffs between the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets has been unwatchable. The cause of that is undeniably the intentional fouling, particularly that of DeAndre Jordan and Dwight Howard.

Apparently the refs feel the same about the hacking that’s been going on as many fans do. At least that’s what it looked like at this point in game four when the Rockets were trying to hack Jordan:

The officials were trying so desperately not to call the foul there. They had blinders on in the realest way and, if Austin Rivers hadn’t had an open lane to a dunk, I’d have to guess that they would have let it slide. For entertainment’s sake, I think we all wish they still would have just given Rivers the dunk and moved on.

There’s likely going to be some kind of solution to this hacking issue coming to the league in the near future. Who knows if that solution is giving the fouling team a technical foul or something like that. After this clip, though, I’m pretty sure that just having the officials blatantly ignore that it’s happening is the most entertaining solution that we could possibly land on.
