Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard shoved a referee and got a technical, then Matt Barnes got in his face and called him a b*tch.

Things are a little bit contentious between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA Playoffs. It isn’t too surprising, the tension of playoff basketball can bring about some tense moments.

During Game 4 of the series, Rockets center Dwight Howard was caught up in one of those moment. He shoves a referee’s arm out fo the way and then gets a techinical.

To add insult to injury, the Clippers’ Matt Barnes then walks towards him and looks like he is going for that shoulder bump we all remeber from high school. Barnes then gets a nice elbow in the chest from Howard who is trying to make him respect his space.

That is when Barnes keeps jawing and while we can’t see everything he says because Howard is in the way, he definitely puts a nice cherry on it by calling Howard a “b*tch” at the very end.

Watch all the drama unfold below.

As some have wisely pointed out, this isn’t particularly new to Howard.
