It may not have landed in the hole, but Justin Thomas landed a shot right into a cup holder on Saturday.

There’s certain moments in Golf where people want trick shots instead of the real deal. On Saturday, Justin Thomas reminded everyone just how awesome golf can be when one of his shots went wrong.

During the eighth hole, Thomas hit a shot that landed nowhere near the course and it actually was even more impressive than driving one down the fairway.

Instead of that sweet natural-cut Florida grass, his shot landed in an unexpected spot with some help from some trees.

Impressively it landed in the cup holder of a woman’s foldout chair after bouncing off some nearby trees.

Tell me that’s not as impressive as landing a shot in the hole.

Seriously, that’s probably even harder to pull off. The shot happened to land perfectly in the cup holder after bouncing off a tree. Now if that’s not worthy of a drink, then what is? Hopefully that golfing fan never cleans out that cup holder, because it has some good luck to it.

It’s easy to assume that Thomas has played a lot of mini-golf in his life, because there’s just no way he could bounced that shot around that way that he did if he hadn’t.

Now try to play it where it lies with that shot.
