LeBron James hurt, Bulls fans cheer his injury (Video)

The Cleveland Cavaliers can’t afford an injury to LeBron James, and his ankle in jury in Game 4 was something that Bulls fans soullessly cheered.
LeBron James is the lifeline that the Cleveland Cavaliers season lives and dies by. He may not be enough to save their season against the Bulls, but losing LeBron James to injury would be a fatal blow to the Cavaliers chances of making it to the NBA Finals.
Everyone knows that, which is why anytime he goes down, everyone holds their breath.
Well, everyone except Bulls fans. LeBron James landed awkwardly on his ankle in Game 4 against the Chicago Bulls, and rather than show concern for someone writhing in pain on the court, Bulls fans too up and cheered LeBron James for being injured.
The injury was bad enough, but the reaction by Bulls fans was something that made everyone’s stomach turn.
It’s one thing to hate LeBron James, but it’s another thing to cheer his injury. This was like fans who cheered Michael Irving basically having his neck snapped in half back in the late 90s, or those who cheered Steve Young’s career-ending concussion against the Cardinals.
Of course, the defense will be that Bulls fans were cheering on the offensive foul, but that is a cop out. Everyone was cheering LeBron James getting injured and anyone saying otherwise is more than likely lying as to not have to feel guilty.
LeBron James’ career isn’t in jeopardy because of this, but it’s still something that violently changes the series against the Bulls. Cheering on an injury that changes the series is gutless and it’s something that Bulls fans should be ashamed of.
There’s being loyal to your team and there’s being way too into a game to the point you cheer on someone’s injury. You may not like LeBron James but cheering on his injury is something that has no place in basketball and no place in this series.
