Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant takes a jab at the Madden folks for not giving him a chance to be on the cover.

The Madden cover athlete is going to be revealed on SportsCenter on Wednesday night and it is down to two athletes, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown were also nominated to be on the cover but weren’t finalists after voting.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, who is an avid Madden player, doesn’t understand why he hasn’t been included in voting for the Madden cover.

It is bizarre, especially given how great of a receiver Dez Bryant is and some of the spectacular catches he has made, whether the referees waved them off or not. He does have a simple solution, Madden just needs to have his overall rating high.

Cowboys fans are probably happy Bryant isn’t on the cover so they can avoid the curse.

Despite being left out of consideration, he is backing New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham for the cover.

Interestingly enough, Beckham’s most famous catch came against Bryant’s Cowboys.
