Matt Barnes wants you to know the Clippers seed is strong (Video)
The children of some of the Los Angeles Clippers players proved that they have some serious game at a young age.
The Los Angeles Clippers are playing some great basketball right now and are on the brink of reaching the Western Conference Finals. Some of their children appear to be emulating the team.
Fiery Clippers forward Matt Barnes showed his softer side off the court, sharing an adorable and awesome video of the kids playing some hoops.
As Barnes notes, the scrimmage featured his twins Isaiah and Carter, Chris Paul II and Jamal Crawford’s son Eric. It appears Isaiah executed the flawless dribble drive following a steal and hit a sweet layup that some full-grown adults would have trouble with.
Based on the way Game 3 and Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals went, the Houston Rockets might have had trouble defeating these children. Los Angeles won both games by at least 25 points, taking a commanding 3-1 lead and emerging as clear title threats.
Houston got back into the series with a Game 5 win on Tuesday. The Clippers enjoyed this moment of fun, but they will be all business when Game 6 tips off tomorrow in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Barnes will try to avoid more technical fouls or large fines for “inappropriate language,” which he hopefully was able to refrain from using during the kids’ scrimmage.
