Cam Newton carries woman through mud at Preakness Stakes
By Mike Dyce
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton carried a woman through the mud at the Preakness Stakes.
The Preakness Stakes and weather didn’t get along this weekend, with rain pouring down on the track creating a muddy race with little visibility. The weather also forced an evacuation of the grandstand and infield.
The track was rather muddy, and fans needed to cross it to exit the infield. One horse racing fan in attendance caught a in a picture on Snapchat man carrying a woman across the thick mud so she wouldn’t get too dirty.
And this is no ordinary man, this is Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
This is an incredibly kind gesture on the part of Newton, who selflessly carried this woman across. It is also pretty Superman like for the quarterback who celebrates by mimicking Superman ripping his shirt open to reveal the “S” underneath.
Maybe there is more to this Superman-Cam Newton connection than just these socks and cleats.
