Dave Batista blasts WWE over misuse of Titus O’Neil
By Jack Crosby
Dave Batista is none too happy with the way WWE has used Titus O’Neil, and now he’s letting everyone know about it
Given the fact that he really doesn’t need WWE because of the way his outside ventures are taking off, Dave Batista is not afraid to speak up publicly when it comes to issues that he has with WWE, and he did just that recently when he stuck up for his good friend, Titus O’Neil.
It’s been no secret that Batista and O’Neil are good friends, and it’s also been no surprise that Batista has stated before that his buddy should be getting a much bigger push than he has in his career so far. Recently, though, WWE has been promoting O’Neil pretty well because he was recently named “Celebrity Dad of the Year” in 2015. So in typical WWE fashion, they’re going to market that for all it’s worth.
But as for a push in the ring? Well, it doesn’t look like that’s happening and Batista has now had it completely. He took to his Twitter account and posted this message which, well, is not wrong.
The full message reads:
"WWE: “@TitusONeilWWE you’re everything a WWE star should be! Get out there and represent our company!! ” Titus: “Then why don’t you give me a push?’ WWE: “Sorry there’s nothing for you creatively” #sameoldbullshit"
Again–he’s not wrong. O’Neil has received public congratulations from both Stephanie and Vince McMahon for garnering the award, yet when it comes to his primary job, it’s been a lot more of the same.
What do you think? Is Batista right to be upset about the way O’Neil is being treated
