Mark Cuban does not like the Houston Rockets, but that didn’t stop him from congratulating them on Twitter after their Conference Finals clinching win.

When the Houston Rockets eliminated the Dallas Mavericks from the postseason in the first-round, it was an ugly exit for a Dallas team that was hungry for another title. The drama with Rajon Rondo overshadowed a season in which the team looked like they might be capable of making a deep run.

That didn’t happen though, and it ended a season-long obsession by Mark Cuban to beat the Rockets. He stole Chandler Parsons from the Rockets, trolled them like he usually did and trash talked his way through the season. But even a man like Mark Cuban is capable of knowing when the better team won — and the accepted that fact on Sunday afternoon.

After the Houston Rockets eliminated the Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban congratulated his rivals on making it to the Conference Finals.

That’s not really the sentiment that Cuban was feeling all season long, as he has a long hatred of the Rockets and it’s a river of hate that flows both ways.

But sports has a way of changing our feelings and making us re-evaluate things. Mark Cuban is a passionate dude, and that’s what makes him so much fun. The better team own the series against the Mavericks and the better team is headed to the Conference Finals to play the Warriors.
