The NBA Playoffs have one more game before the Conference Finals, and the Clippers vs. Rockets series has come down to the wire.
The Los Angeles Clippers have been a team on the brink of being something special for a long time, but they haven’t been able to get over the hump. The same thing can be said about a talented Houston Rockets team, a squad that survived falling into a massive hole and have fought back to force a Game 7.
Los Angeles has been looking to get over the hump once and for all and that might be what happens if they can beat up the Rockets in the second-round and earn a series against the Warriors. Things won’t be getting any easier for whoever wins this series, but the Clippers having two series go a full seven games seems to make them more battled ready then the other teams in the postseason.
Then again, the argument could be made that it simply wears them out, and will make the winner of the Clippers vs. Rockets series a weaker opponent for the rested Dubs.
