The Houston Rockets are on to the Western Conference Finals, and the Warriors vs. Rockets series could be the best we see all postseason long.

When Steph Curry was dubbed the MVP of the league a few weeks ago, James Harden was less than impressed. He was in the running to be named the MVP all season long, and lost out seemingly due to the popularity of the Warriors and all they had become as a team.
Steph Curry deserved to win the MVP, but James Harden wants to show him that he doesn’t deserve to win the NBA Finals. That’s a showdown we’re going to get in the Western Conference Finals as the Warriors vs. Rockets series is going to determine who comes out of the West.

The way that the Houston Rockets stormed back in their series against the Los Angeles Clippers in the final two games of their series seems to suggest that there’s a new favorite to come out of the west. Houston looked unstoppable in Game 7 against the Clippers, and if they can keep up that pace against the Warriors then they might be able to reach the NBA Finals to face — most likely — the Cavaliers.
Houston and Cleveland played a few brutal games this season, and at the time we all pondered what a Cleveland-Houston NBA Finals would look like. We are one step closer to seeing that happen, but before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we are in for a wild Warriors vs. Rockets series in the Conference Finals.
