Cowboys fan honors Dez Bryant at graduation
The NFL offseason is in full swing, but that doesn’t stop some football fans from supporting their team. One fan even dedicated her graduation cap to Dez Bryant from the Dallas Cowboys
Graduation day is supposed to be a time where your parents can marvel over your achievements from the last four years of schooling. Everyone takes pictures, dresses up, and walks across a stage to receive a piece of paper with your name on it. It truly is a great day that honors those students who finished the required curriculum.
One of the many traditions associated with graduation is decorating your cap so your family can tell where you are in the crowd of identical outfits. Some put bedazzled jewels or bright colors on their garb, while others remain faithful to their favorite sports team. One Dallas Cowboys fan did just that and referenced the last offensive play of their season last year.
The controversy over the catch that defined the Cowboys season last year still remains in the hearts of every football fan in Dallas. Of course they are bitter, I would be too. Losing on such a controversial play is no way to go out, so this recent graduate decided to take one last jab at all those haters out there who claim Dez didn’t catch that ball.
Here is the play in slow motion so you can decide for yourself if it was or was not a catch.
Even though there is a large amount of speculation still about the infamous Dez Bryant catch, the fact of the matter is the Cowboys lost. And there is nothing anyone can do to change that.
Of course that won’t stop Cowboys fans from complaining about it. But the hard truth is that no matter how many people decorate their graduation caps supporting the Cowboys, the play will stand and they will have to try again next season.
