The Houston Astros should celebrate. They have one of the Major League Baseball’s best records and have won six of their last seven games. The Astros are having a great start to the season, regardless if it falls off later as some suspect it might. It’s only natural that they might be looking for new ways to celebrate. Apparently the newest one is orchestrated by George Springer, and involves turning the clubhouse into Club Astros.
So instead of going out for a night on the town after a win, Springer brings the party to the team. Strobe lights, a disco ball and a fog machine are just par for the course at Club Astros. Springer also said they’ve added in squirt guns and he hopes there will be further additions to the victory parties in the future.
Amusingly enough, when asked if he had heard of Studio 54, he replied that he hadn’t. Still, Springer says the Astros are killing it, so they might as well have fun while they’re at it.
Houston will continue to try and “kill it” as it finishes a series with the Oakland A’s on Wednesday. The Astros then move onto the Detroit Tigers, who also have one of the better records in the American League.
H/T FTW
