team. 11. The Orioles rotation has been inconsistent at best, turning in quality starts in less than half of their overall games. However, that hasn’t been the fault of Wei-Yin Chen. The lefty has been outstanding, posting a 2.53 ERA and 1.028 WHIP over 42.2 innings of work. He could become quite the bargain this winter in a pitching heavy market.. . Previous: +3rd. Baltimore Orioles. 16

17. The Heyward for Miller may seem like a push right now, but the Braves are really appreciating their end of it. Shelby Miller has been the only consistent arm in their rotation this year, posting a 5-1 record, a 1.33 ERA, and a 7.17 K/9 ratio. He’s molding into a proven stopper, and that spells ace material.. . Previous: +4th. Atlanta Braves. 17. team

Previous: -4th. Cincinnati Reds. 18. team. 61. For a team that plays in the park to score runs in, the Reds sure are having trouble plating them at home. Cincinnati has scored just 71 runs at home, which ranks 22nd in MLB. That’s led to a 9-9 record at home. Since the Reds are 9-12 on the road, they really need to find a way to capitalize on the home cooking. .

After walking 6.4 per nine innings in April, rookie Aaron Sanchez has settled nicely over his last three starts. That’s important to a Blue Jays rotation that has needed more improved innings from their starters. If Daniel Norris can rejoin the rotation and show the same level of improvement, there may be hope for Toronto’s pitching this season.. . Previous: -8th. Toronto Blue Jays. 19. team. 39

. Previous: +5th. Chicago White Sox. 20. team. 128. For a team that has had trouble generating offense outside of Jose Abreu, Avisial Garcia has been a sight for sore eyes. Over the last seven games, Garcia is 10 for 23 with a pair home runs and eight RBI. Of course, those two home runs were two of the three the White Sox hit this week, but the team still went 8-2 over their last 10 without the power.
