Everything you need to know to watch Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors opened the Western Conference Finals with a win against the Houston Rockets in Game 1. They’re looking to extend their lead to two games to none with a win at home in Game 2 before heading to Texas for Game 3.
The Rockets can steal home advantage away from the Warriors if they get a win on Thursday night, but it won’t be easy. Center Dwight Howard is listed as questionable for the game.
“We’ve been through it this year,” Rockets guard James Harden said, via ESPN. “Those guys are ready to come in and contribute. Hopefully, big fella can get his body healthy and can go out there and help us.”
Without Howard in the paint, the Warriors might gain a big advantage and run away with Game 2. Howard injured his knee and said he won’t rush back as a panic move.
“It’s a long series. We’re not going to lose our minds because we lost in the first game,” Howard said.
