Steph Curry just made his 59th three-pointer this postseason, breaking the previous record of 58 with a nice 30-foot bomb in the first half.

If his regular season performance wasn’t impressive enough for you, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry decided to make his postseason numbers look just as good, if not better. The sixth-year player has just made history, breaking the three-point record for most made in a single postseason.

The fact that Curry broke the record with likely an entire series and a half remaining, if the Warriors beat the Houston Rockets, is almost more impressive.

This season, Curry broke the record for three-pointers made in a single season — shattering his previous mark. Now that the postseason is here, he hasn’t stopped hitting long-range bombs, knocking down his 59th in the first half against Houston.

Everyone knew he was going to break the mark because he came into the game just one shy of the record and it only took him about 20 minutes to get the monkey off his back.

Here’s the impressive 30-foot record-breaker:

Range means nothing to Curry as he makes 30-plus foot three-pointers look like layups on a regular basis. It’s fitting that this long-range shot of 30 feet was the record breaker.

Curry is having himself quite the showing in the 2015 NBA Playoffs, averaging more points than he did in the regular season while leading the Warriors to the Western Conference Finals and a possible 3-to-0 lead over the Rockets heading into Game 4. The lead is double-digits in the first half and if Golden State can hold on, the lead may be almost insurmountable for Houston in the series.

There’s a reason why Steph was named the MVP this season and it’s consistent jumpers like this and breaking records with ease.

You know he’s good when a miss is more surprising than a 30-foot make.
