‘A Bond For Life’ Fan Documentary gets Teaser Trailer
Can a series of films change the life of a person? Does a screen hero like James Bond have the power to steer a teenager through some of the most difficult and challenging times of his life? The answer is YES! Without the fantasy world of the Bond Films as an escape, this teenager would probably not be able to tell the story. This teenager was me and through a unique, non-commercial Fan-Documentary I would like to tell the story of my 20 year journey with Bond.

The film, dedicated to Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, begins with the year 1996 in which I saw my first Bond Film ‘GoldenEye’. From there, it will take viewers through sad, hopeful, turbulent but also wonderful stages of my life until it arrives in the present in which I have assumed my place in the global James Bond community and have learned to live a happy life. The project aims to deliver an entertaining Fan-Documentary with an important message: That you can achieve a lot when you believe in yourself and learn to stand on your own two feet. Another reason is the possibility to reach a significant amount of donations for UNICEF on a European level and thereby help where help is urgently needed.
Beside my hometown Braunschweig, in which my daily private and professional routine as a self-employed English teacher is followed by the camera, the documentary was also shot on location in London, Belfast, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bad Harzburg, Frankfurt as well as in Sölden, Kitzbühel, Dresden, Paris and several locations in Switzerland.
A series of renowned guest appearances has already made the project very special. Beside Bond experts and Fans from across the globe, stars such as film composer David Arnold, Actress Nikki van der Zyl, Lyricist and Academy Award Winner Don Black, Production Designer and Academy Award Winner Sir Ken Adam as well as Actors Mads Mikkelsen and Götz Otto have already answered the core question of the documentary: “How has James Bond influenced or even changed your life?”
Release of ‘A Bond For Life’ is scheduled for spring 2016 and there will be two premiere screenings – one in my hometown Braunschweig (Germany) and another one in London (UK) from which ticket sales will be donated to UNICEF in full. Further screenings are planned. The film will not be commercially available on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Today, on my 34th birthday, I have decided to release the Teaser Poster (seen above) and Teaser Trailer (below). There are still 10 months left until the documentary will celebrate its World Premiere, time enough to shape the project until it looks really stunning. The full trailer will premiere in the C1 Cinema in Braunschweig on October 3rd, ahead of a 50th anniversary screening of ‘THUNDERBALL’. Here is the Teaser Trailer for you to enjoy:
