Rival fans have taken to social media to mock Chelsea’s victory parade through London following their Premier League championship win
Chelsea ended a fantastic Premier League campaign with a less than impressive victory parade through London. The victory Parade didn’t seem to draw much of a crowd and as such, drew a lot of criticism from rival fans who already use the “Plastic Fans” argument to make fun of the London club.

Usually when a team wins a cup or League title, thousands upon thousands of their fans take to the street and there are are heavy traffic and pedestrian issues. This didn’t seem to be the case with Chelsea however, as the players paraded around the city in front of a smaller audience.
The small turn out drew a lot of jokes and insults from rival fans all across social media:

The club has often been criticized for having a poor fan base because a lot of people flocked to the club when they were taken over by billionaire Roman Abramovic some years ago. However, Chelsea fans can boast the best team in England and a superior trophy tally than their national rivals of late.
