The following is how all the drivers did fantasy-wise in the 2015 Coca-Cola 600 in the DraftKings scoring system. As you will see, the DraftKings system is unique and emphasizes both in-race performance as well as finishing position. Martin Truex Jr. (111 FPs) and Kurt Busch (100 FPs) finished just 5th and 10th respectively but were the clear scoring leaders due to their on-track dominance throughout the race. Conversely, the race winner (Carl Edwards, 57 FP) and runner-up (Greg Biffle, 46 FP) had good but not great fantasy numbers. However, like conventional fantasy leagues, you still can’t afford to have a driver wreck or blow-up and finish at the bottom as the negative scores of Jimmie Johnson (-16 FP), Ryan Blaney (-25.25 FP), and David Ragan (-34.25 FP) attest.
