Daily Fantasy Baseball: FanDuel Lineup For May 31

FanDuel Lineup For May 31
We are pleased to present a MLB daily fantasy lineup for May 31. These picks are based on how well the players have been playing lately and also in some cases I like to pick based on how well the player has played against the pitcher they are facing. I like to use as much math as I can when picking players and utilizing a fair amount of risk versus some player I feel are safe bets to get positive points.

This is the lineup that I am planning to use tomorrow. This should be used as a guide for you, for instance if you don’t trust a player that I have picked you should follow your gut and use someone else.
Pitcher:
Chase Anderson, Diamondbacks ($6,800): Chase Anderson comes into this game pitching very well. He is sporting a 2.59 ERA and still comes with a very nice price tag. I feel like he is a very safe bet to get 8-10 fantasy points at a nice price.
Catcher:
Buster Posey, Giants ($4,000): Posey is hitting the ball pretty well right now. He has also hit Julio Teheran very well over his career. He sports a .636 average with 2HRs and 4 RBI.
First Baseman:
Chris Carter, Astros ($2,900): Carter has been riding a 7-game hitting streak and hit a home run the 30th. He is hot right now and is a safe bet to remain so for a little while. He is certainly worth the price at $2,900. Carter is a safe bet to hit the ball and a worthy gamble to hit a home run.
Second Baseman:
Dee Gordon, Dodgers ($3,700): Dee Gordon comes at a pretty high price tag, but he has certainly proven to be worthy of the price. Gordon has been ripping up the base paths lately. He has 20 steals on the season with eight over his last eight games. Gordon is also hitting an excellent .374 on the season.
Third Baseman:
Adrian Beltre, Rangers ($3,200): Beltre has been playing much better as of late. He seems to be in full swing now that he is heating up. Beltre is up to six HRs on the season and as the weather warms up so is his bat. He is worth using right now while his proce is low.
Shortstop:
Brandon Crawford, Giants ($2,900): Crawford is one of the hottest SSs available for tomorrow’s slate of games. He does not have a great record against Teheran, but I am thinking that he is too hot not to use considering his price tag.
Outfield:
Ryan Braun, Brewers ($4,500): Braun is another player that I feel like is too hot not to use right now. Braun is batting .270 on the season, but over the past 15 days he is hitting .326 with six HRs. Get him in your lineup for tomorrow.
A.J. Pollock, Diamondbacks ($4,200): Pollock comes at a bit of a high price tag, but I like him for tomorrow. He is going to face off against Tyler Wagner who is getting his first start in the big leagues tomorrow. He is also one of the hottest hitting outfielders in the game right now.
Gregory Polanco, Pirates ($2,800): Polanco was in my opinion the best player in the lower price range. I know he has not been too hot lately, but he was I felt like a pretty safe bet to get things going tomorrow. He has been showing signs of heating up lately as well.
As always we thank you FanDuelers for stopping by and wish you the best of luck with all of your daily fantasy leagues tomorrow.
