Rangers’ Josh Hamilton hits walk off double, reporter gets Gatorade bath
By Mike Dyce
Reporter Emily Jones got hit with the Gatorade bath after Josh Hamilton hit a walk-off double for the Texas Rangers.
Texas Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton is back in Arlington and back to helping the club win games. On Sunday he came in to pinch hit and ended up hitting a walk off double to defeat the Boston Red Sox.
And it was all fun and games until this happened.
For those who can’t tell, underneath the red splashing Gatorade is Emily Jones, a reporter covering the Rangers. That is right the Rangers players came at this post-game interview with Hamilton with two coolers of Gatorade, one for Hamilton and one for Jones.
And in slow motion.
She didn’t look too thrilled afterwards, and why should she be.
But like the pro she is, she finished the interview anyways.
Hamilton even helped her dry off.
Jones has been a victim of hijinx from the Rangers players over the years, and just days ago shared a picture of her purse filled with gum, saying it is better than Gatorade. Could she have inadvertently given the Rangers players the idea?
