Miami student receives Stone Cold Stunner at graduation (Video)

A University of Miami student received a Stone Cold Stunner while walking across the stage at graduation.

Anyone who has ever attended a graduation ceremony knows that there are bizarre things that happen. People decorate their caps, families compete with one another to be the loudest and most obnoxious when their relatives name is called.

Then there is this University of Miami student who took it to a whole different level. While walking across the stage he held up a WWE championship belt rather triumphantly, which is fitting given the big moment and sense of accomplishment.

Then another student comes out of no where to deliver the Stone Cold Stunner to him, the trademark finished of Stone Cold Steve Austin. If he was going to come out of no where he really should’ve gone with the RKO, but I respect the throwback.

The cap flying off adds an element of “selling” that we never saw during Stone Cold’s run in the WWE. It almost rivals the ridiculous sell job from The Rock over the days, when he’d literally be stood up stunned or fly out of the ring.

Or sometimes…. both in a matter of seconds.

Nothing will rival the moment when Stone Cold returned to save the WWE, then WWF, from an ambush at the hands of the WCW and ECW alliance.
