Devin Booker. 15. player. 125.
Despite gaining the best record in the East this year out of nowhere, the Atlanta Hawks couldn’t stay healthy for long enough to take down the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference finals. It’s hard to say what they need in this upcoming draft, but role players are a must. Their offense is centered around a team-oriented style of play, so they should not go for an isolation type of player.

Part of me thinks they will select Devin Booker from Kentucky. He is a proven shooter who when hot can make you pay. In the Hawks’ offense, Booker will waste no time fitting in as the pro style of offense he ran at Kentucky will translate perfectly to the NBA.

It was a disappointing end to the Hawks’ Cinderella season, but the main thing is that their time isn’t over as one of the best teams in the East. They need to retain their current players and build upon them if they plan on being successful in the future. Booker is a step in the right direction.
. SG. Kentucky
