Kentucky. Karl-Anthony Towns. 1. player. 86.
Karl-Anthony Towns is as close to a sure thing as you can get in the NBA draft. Everyone is always afraid of busting with the top pick, but with Towns, that fear is pretty minimal considering his physical tools and athletic ability.

When in the paint, Towns has solid post moves, a strong rebounding presence, and an astounding defensive upside. At Kentucky, we saw how effective this big man can be when you unleash his full potential.

In Minnesota, he is going to find himself in a pretty good situation once the season rolls around. The Timberwolves have young talent that makes teams like the New York Knicks blush, and now that Kevin Garnett has been reintroduced into the organization, it seems like Towns will have the perfect mentor to grow with. Expect big things from Towns in Minnesota.

It’s about time someone did something there to make a splash in the NBA again.
. PF/C
