FanDuel Pitcher Picks For June 6

This is FanDuel pitcher picks for June 6, 7:10 eastern time slate of games. There are six games to choose from and some pretty nice options. As always we here at Fantasy CPR thank you for stopping by and we wish all you FanDuelers the best of luck.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science. I just provide the facts.

Here are my FanDuel Pitcher picks for June 6:

High Dollar ($7,600 and up):

Best Bet:

Clayton Kershaw, Dodgers ($11,700): Kershaw is probably the best of this class for tomorrow. Even though he gets a tough opponent in the Cardinals, Kershaw is pitching really well as of late and is usually a pretty matchup-proof type of pitcher. I am really not a big fan of any of the pitchers in this price range for tomorrow, but if you use Kershaw I can not really argue with that as he usually gets around 14-15 fantasy points per game.

Honorable Mention:

Julio Teheran, Braves ($7,800): Once again I am not real crazy about using any of the pitchers in this price range. If I was going to use a cheaper pitcher in this range, I think it would be Teheran. Teheran is much more comfortable pitching at home much like every other pitcher in MLB. When he has pitched at home he has been a pretty safe bet to pick up 15 or more fantasy points per outing.

Stay Away:

Bartolo Colon, Mets ($7,800): Colon is one guy I am never real comfortable using in a daily fantasy league. Sometimes I will use him on a team in regular fantasy leagues, but I just don’t trust him enough to use him here.

Mid-Range Options ($6,600-7,600)

Best Bet:

Jaime Garcia, Cardinals ($7,100): Garcia has a great daily league advantage in being on one of the better teams in the NL. He has pitched pretty well in his three outings on the season and is a pretty safe bet to keep a low ERA while getting four to five Ks and probably a win. I am always a fan of using Cardinals’ pitchers whenever possible.

  • Honorable Mention:

Adam Warren, Yankees ($6,700): Warren is not a great option, but he is a guy I would not mind using. He is playing at home and is pitching pretty well as of late. He may not get you much more than 12 or 13 fantasy points, but he is a fairly safe bet to do just that.

    Stay Away:

Jeff Locke, Pirates ($6,700): Locke is not a terrible option, but he has not been great lately. I doubt that he gets much more than four or five fantasy points and that is not going to win any daily fantasy leagues for you.

    Cheap Options ($6,500 and under)

There are only two options available at this price tag. John Danks and Alex Colome. To be completely honest the only pitcher I would entertain here is John Danks. Danks is coming off of a complete game shutout where he scored 19 fantasy points. I would guess that he probably will not do that again, but I like the idea of using him here. My two options for my leagues tomorrow will most likely be either Danks or Garcia depending on what kind of budget I have left after selecting my hitters.
