FanDuel Lineup For June 8

We are coming off of a pretty solid lineup from June 5 which was the last time I put out a FanDuel lineup. I was able to finish 13 out of 1149 with 58.83 points. That is pretty nice. I feel pretty good about today’s lineup as well.

I want to give you a quick reminder that this lineup is a suggestion and I base it off of pretty current data. I try to use as much former BVP stats as I can and I also try to factor in how hot a player is. Sometimes I will use the teams and the ball parks as well to factor in to who I draft and play. If you ever feel that someone else would serve your team and your lineup needs better than I certainly suggest that by all means you use them in place of my suggestion.

Pitcher:

Mike Bolsinger, Dodgers ($6,000): Bolsinger is coming off of two pretty bad match-ups but now he gets to pitch at home where his numbers have been very fantasy worthy. His las two outings at home he scored 20 and 16 fantasy points.

Catcher:

Francisco Cervelli, Pirates ($2,600): Cervelli has been a pretty solid, cheap source of fantasy points lately. I like to use him in daily leagues and save my money for the more expensive positions. He also has batted .442 with seven RBI and a HR over the past 15 days.

First Baseman:

Joe Mauer, Twins ($3,100): Joe Mauer is a pretty nice investment here for us here. He has batted .424 against Jason Vargas and seems to hit him pretty well. He also has been pretty hot lately as well. Mauer only has two HRs on the season, but just hit one the other day.

Second Baseman:

Dee Gordon, Marlins ($3,500): Dee Gordon was my favorite option here since my 2B favorite as of late Joe Panik was not on this FanDuel slate of games. I do like Gordon here and expect him to at least give us two or three fantasy points.

  • Third Baseman:

Nolan Arenado, Rockies ($4,200): Arenado is extremely hot and he is playing at home sweet home where the baseball likes to fly out of the park. Really there is not much other reason we need here to draft and play Arenado.

    Shortstop:

Jean Segura, Brewers ($2,900): Segura has a pretty decent career against A.J. Burnett. He is batting .364 against him and has three steals. I like him here and he has also been pretty solid as of late too. The price is right here to get Segura active.

    Outfield:

Andrew McCutchen, Pirates ($4,900): McCutchen has one of the hottest bats in all of baseball right now. He is an easy pick here as I set myself up to have a lot of money to spend on my OFs. McCutchen will most likely get us six or seven fantasy points.

A.J. Pollock, Diamondbacks ($4,600): Pollock is another one of the hottest bats in baseball as well. Over the last 15 days Pollock is batting .345 with three HRs and 9 RBI. I like using these guys when they are hot until they cool off.

Ben Revere, Phillies ($3,000): Revere is batting .314 against Mike Leake. He also has 3 SBs and 4 RBI against him. Being fairly hot is not going to hurt him either. Revere is a nice play here for the price.
