FanDuel fantasy baseball tips: Top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups-6/7
As we finish out the first week in June, Major League Baseball has a full 15-game schedule with the typical jam-packed Sunday afternoon time slots and tonight’s featured game on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. Tonight’s game is a possible NLCS preview between the Dodgers and the Cardinals in LA as the teams meet for the seventh time in the last two weeks. That’s just one of the matchups to check out as you put together your fantasy team today, and to help you out, I’ve put together the top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups to attack as you build your Sunday lineup.

You can find a post like this each morning right here at Fansided. I try to include a variety of teams and positions while listing the hitters with the best head-to-head record against their probable opponents. As you quickly realize when you play fantasy baseball, past success unfortunately doesn’t guarantee future results, but that doesn’t invalidate previous head-to-head record as a factor to consider when selecting your players.
If you find this information helpful and would like to make this post part of your fantasy baseball routine, set a bookmark on our fantasy baseball hub where you can find each day’s fantasy coverage. Another way to keep up with our daily posts and get tips throughout the day is to follow @FansidedFantasy on Twitter where I’ll also be glad to answer any questions about your fantasy baseball lineup.

There are a number of great leagues you can enter today using some of my top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups to fill out your lineup card.
Let’s get started with my lsat of the top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups for this Sunday, June 7.
10. Matt Holliday-OF-St. Louis Cardinals: As the Cards take on LA tonight in the marquee game, Holliday will face Zack Greinke as St. Louis looks to take three out of four from the Dodgers. In their careers, the two veterans have met fairly often with Holliday going 7-25 (.280) with a pair of home runs and five RBI against Greinke in the past.
8. Chase Utley-2B-Philadelphia Phillies: Another veteran option to consider today is Chase Utley. Utley and the Phillies are trying to avoid the sweep at home this afternoon as they take on the Giants and Ryan Vogelsong. In his career, Utley is 5-9 (.556) against Vogelsong but he does not have a extra base hit against him yet.
9. Chris Carter-1B-Houston Astros: Carter and the Astros face knuckleballer R.A. Dickey today as they close out their series in Toronto. The Astros are also trying to avoid the sweep and Carter could be a big part of that since he has hit Dickey well in the past going 4-12 (.333) with two doubles and a home run.
