  • Cole Hamels (PHI) at CIN for $10,400: Hamels is having a fantastic season for the Phillies with a 5-4 mark and a 2.88 ERA 1.11 WHIP and 84 Ks in 81 1/3 IP and has been especially dominant of late. In his last 6 starts Hamels is 5-1 and is averaging an amazing 27.35 FPPG. Hamels faces a Reds team who he has absolutely owned in his career with a 9-0 record in 13 starts with a .174 OBA, 1.59 ERA and 0.94 WHIP. That includes him being 4-0 with a 1.33 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 47 K in 40 2/3 IP in Great American Ballpark. Plus, the Vegas run line is low at 7 runs and the Phillies are at -110 odds against the 24-31 Reds who are 25th in the majors in runs scored.

    Shelby Miller (ATL) home vs. SD for $8,400: Shelby Miller (5-2, 1.89 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 19.8 FPPG) is having a spectacular season for the Braves although he is coming off a bad start (4 R, 4 1/3 IP) vs. ARZ at Chase Feld. Look for him to rebound at home vs. the Padres, where Atlanta is as high as a -150 favorite. Miller also likes pitching in his new digs at Turner Field where he has a 2.15 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 6 career starts.

    Infielders

    1B Freddie Freeman (ATL) home vs. SD (Ian Kennedy) for $4,800: Freeman (.305, 10 HR, 34 RBI, 8.9 FPPG) is on an absolute tear lately going 10 for 21 with 8 runs, 4 HRs, 9 RBIs, and a SB in his last 7 games. The Braves slugger has a great L/R matchup against Ian Kennedy (3-5, 6.60 ERA, 1.47 WHIP) against whom he is 6 for 10 with a homer and 8 RBI against.

    2B/3B Martin Prado (MIA) at TOR (Estrada) for $4,200: Prado (.284, 6.3 FPPG) is currently batting near the top of the Marlins order and has a 9 game hitting streak (13 for 37). He is also 5 for 16 (.313) vs. Estrada and is playing in hitters paradise Rogers Centre tonight.

    Outfielders

    OF Carlos Gomez (MIL at PIT (Burnett) for $4600: Gomez (.285, 5 HR, 24 RBI, 6 SB) is playing well, going 12 for 29 with 9.3 FPPG in his last 7 games. He is also 6 for 19 lifetime vs. A. J. Burnett who has struggled lately with 8 ER allowed in his last 10 2/3 IP and has a career 2-6 record and 4.65 ERA in 11 starts vs. the Brewers.

    OF Torii Hunter (MIN) home vs. KC (Vargas) for $4,200: The Twins veteran outfielder is have a good season hitting .281 with 8 HR, 36 RBI, and 29 runs in 51 games. He is also riding a modest 5 game hitting streak and has hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games. Lastly, the RH Hunter owns a .333 BA in 48 career ABs vs. lefty Jason Vargas.
