Trevor Bauer (CLE) home vs. SEA for $8,700: The young Indian star is having a good year at 5-2 with a 2.84 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 9.0 K/9. He has been especially good of late, stringing together 5 starts where he has given up 2 or fewer runs while averaging 25.9 FPPG. He’s at home tonight as a -150 favorite facing the Mariners, against whom he pitched well (7 IP, 2 ER, 10 K, 26.4 FP) on 5/29. Also, Seattle is dead last in the league hitting vs. RHP with a .230 average. Bauer could give you top SP numbers tonight at $8,700, which is a season high salary but still a bargain price.

Charlie Morton (PIT) home vs. MIL for $6,300: Morton is 3-0 with a 2.84 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 3 starts after a stint on the DL and starting the year in the minors for rehab. He has averaging 14 FPPG at an average salary of $6,800. A true ground ball pitcher, he’s not usually going to get you a lot of Ks, but look for his strikeout rate (2.8 K in ‘15, 7.2 K9 in ’14, and 6.1 K9 career) to revert to the mean. Charlie loves pitching at home and at PNC Park (3.27, 1.30 WHIP in 55 starts) as his career ERA at home (3.69) is over a run and a half less than his career road mark. Morton and the Pirates are a -145 favorite today at home vs. the last place Brewers. If you need to save money on SP, this is the pick for you.

Stay Away: Matt Harvey (NYM) home vs. SF for $10,700. Harvey (6-3, 3.05 ERA, 0.98 WHIP) is a stud and has pitched extremely well this year, but this may be a matchup that you want to pass on him, especially at the top DK SP salary of $10.700 and assuredly high ownership rate. The Giants (33-26, 17-12 away) have an above average offense (14th in majors in runs scored) and are 2nd in the league with a .273 BA vs. RHP. Plus, SF is 3-1 on their current road trip, scoring 5.3 rpg.

    Infielders

2B Dustin Pedroia (BOS) at BAL (Chen) for $4,100: Pedroia is having a fine year (.312, 8 HR, 23 RBI) and has gone .469 (15 for 32) with a HR in his last 7 games. He is hitting an unignorable .469 (15 for 32) in his career vs.Wei-yin Chen and is at Camden Yards tonight, which ranks 4th at both Park Factor Runs and Home Runs in 2015.

1B Lucas Duda (NYM) home vs. SF (Tim Hudson) for $4,300: Duda (.275, 9 HR, .874 OPS) has a good L/R matchup vs. Tim Hudson whom he is .400 against (12 for 30) with a home run. Although Duda struggled on his recent road trip, look the streaky hitter to pick it up at home at CitiField, where he has hit 3 HR in his last 4 games there.

    Next: Outfielders

    Outfielders

OF Andrew McCutchen (PIT) home vs. MIL (Lohse) for $5,000: McCutchen (.287, 8 HR, 37 RBI, 3 SB, 8.7 FPPG) has fully recovered after a horrible start to the season, hitting .362 with 6 HRs in his last 30 games. Plus, McCutchen is very good vs. Lohse in his career with a .311 BA (14 for 45 AB) and 3 HR. Spend the extra money on him tonight and expect 15+ FP.

    More from FanSided

OF David DeJesus (TB) home vs. LAA (Weaver) for $3,100: DeJesus (.313, 5 HR, 20 RBI in 144 PA) has been successful this year as a platoon outfielder vs. RHP for the Rays. He has a decent matchup against Jeff Weaver (4-5, 4.60 ERA) tonight which he has a .261 (12 for 46) career mark with 2 homers.
