Unfortunately, a good history against a pitcher doesn’t guarantee fantasy baseball success, but it is one of the key factors to consider as you make your lineup selections. To help you find the best of the day all in one spot, you can find a post featuring each day’s top 10 matchups right here at Fansided. I try to include a variety of teams and positions while listing the hitters with the best head-to-head record against their opposing probable pitchers.

Let’s jump right in to the top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups for this Wednesday, June 10.
10. Mark Teixeira-1B-New York Yankees: As the Yankees look to win their eighth straight game this afternoon in the Bronx, they’ll take on the the Nationals and Gio Gonzalez. Mark Teixeira is the Yankee with the best track record against Gio going 6-18 (.333) against him in his career with a pair of doubles as well as a pair of home runs.
9. Alcides Escobar-SS-Kansas City Royals: The Royals and Twins continue their AL Central series tonight as the Twins turn to Kyle Gibson to try and out-duel Edinson Volquez and help the avoid the sweep. One Royals’ hitter that Gibson has struggled with in the past is Alcides Escobar who is 6-14 (.429) against Gibson with a double and an RBI.
8. Bryce Harper-OF-Washington Nationals: Also coming in with a 6-14 (.429) career mark against his opposing starting is Bryce Harper who will take on Nathan Eovaldi of the Yankees this afternoon in the Bronx. Harper does have a solo home run off of Eovaldi as well, and he’s definitely an option to consider if you have money to spend at the position and your league includes this afternoon’s action.
