Mark Teixeira is the Yankee with the best track record against Gio going 6-18 (.333) against him in his career with a pair of doubles as well as a pair of home runs.

Alcides Escobar-SS-Kansas City Royals: The Royals and Twins continue their AL Central series tonight as the Twins turn to Kyle Gibson to try and out-duel Edinson Volquez and help the avoid the sweep. One Royals’ hitter that Gibson has struggled with in the past is Alcides Escobar who is 6-14 (.429) against Gibson with a double and an RBI.
8. Bryce Harper-OF-Washington Nationals: Also coming in with a 6-14 (.429) career mark against his opposing starting is Bryce Harper who will take on Nathan Eovaldi of the Yankees this afternoon in the Bronx.
