  • Pitchers

Garrett Richards (LAA) at TB for $8,900: Richards is having a fine year with a 5-4 record and a 4.14 ERA and 1.31 WHIP. He got rocked by the Yankees in his last outing that inflated his decent season stats. There appears to be nothing wrong with Richards physically and thus look for him to rebound against a Rays quad that he had a quality start and win against on 6/1. The Angels are a -125 road favorite tonight and the run line is at a low 7. On a slate where good SP matchups are at premium, this is a safe bet.

Jonathon Niese (NYM) home vs. SF for $7,200: Niese (3-6, 4.43 ERA) and is just having an OK season but appears to be breaking out of a slump, having a quality start in a hitter’s park (18.8 FP at Chase Field) last time out. He faces a Giants squad at home who have only hit 7 HRs in 482 ABs vs. LHP this year. He gets to pitch at home in pitcher-friendly CitiField for the Mets who are a slight favorite.

    Infielders

SS Troy Tulowitzki (COL) at MIA (Phelps) for $5,900: Tulowitzki is a hot as you can get with a .462 (18 for 29) mark in his last 15 games with 11 runs, 5 HR, 14 RBI, and 5 walks. While we hasn’t faced Phelps yet, he has been good in his career at Marlins Park with a .294 BA, 1.015 OBA and 2 HRs in 38 plate appearances. In a shallow talent pool at SS in tonight’s abbreviated slate, spend your money here and save elsewhere.

2B Dustin Pedroia (BOS) at BAL (Tillman) for $4,300: Pedroia is having a fine year (.313, 8 HR, 23 RBI) and has gone .464 (13 for 28) with a HR in his last 8 games. While his is .263 in only 38 ABs against Tillman, he has hit a fine .300 is his career at Camden Yards. Look for Pedroia (7.7  FPPG) to continue his steady production tonight.

    Next: Outfielders

    Outfielders

OF Michael Cuddyer (NYM) home vs. SF (Lincecum) for $4,100: Cuddyer (.267, 6 HR, 27 R, 24 RBI) has a steady spot in the middle of the Mets’ lineup and has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games. Plus, Cuddyer has been very good vs. Lincecum in his career with a .389 BA (7 for 18) and a home run.

    More from FanSided

OF Dexter Fowler (CHI) home vs. CIN (Lorenzen) for $3,100. Fowler (.248, 41 R, 6 HR, 11 SB) has broken out of an early season slump and has gone 9 for 26 with 5 runs scored in his last six games. Plus, the switch-hitting, leadoff man for the Cubs is playing at Wrigley at home tonight vs. Lorenzen, who has given up 12 walks in his last 3 starts. Expect Fowler to get on base paths and score 10+ FPs.

    Good Luck!
