Golden State fan calls LeBron a P-A-B, immediately catches death stare and a lecture

A rowdy Golden State fan had some choice words for LeBron James after Game 2.

One exceptionally feisty Golden State fan had some choice words for LeBron James following the Warriors’ Game 2 home loss to the Cavaliers. Since I’m the new guy on staff and really enjoy working for Time Inc., I’ll err on the side of caution and not transcribe her barbs. Let’s just say it was a quick interrogative involving certain anatomy from the southern hemisphere.

This clip is starting to go viral, and there are already plenty of self-righteous personalities calling for the girl’s head to be put on a pike. I’m not going to go that far. Is it a crude move? Of course. But was her timing impeccable? Also yes. She dropped it at the absolute perfect moment, catching everyone off guard. Also, the fact that she immediately feigned deaf likely proves she snuck down courtside (you look for a section without security, shuffle quickly, pretend like you own the joint and fake deaf when people yell at you – it’s Seat Upgrading 101), so taking away her tickets is likely a non-option here.

Love the LeBron death stare, too (and the befuddled look of the handler escorting him off the court). God only knows all the vile stuff LBJ has heard over the course of his career (you’re telling me nobody in Cleveland yelled anything like this, or worse, whenever the Heatles came to town?), so for him to stop is pretty major. He probably wasn’t expecting A) the vulgarity or B) it to come from the mouth of a woman – have to imagine all the deep-voiced diatribes from men blend together like white noise. This lady cut through the air like a razor.

How great would it be if LeBron’s super duper secret motivation turned out to be this woman? Forget the allure of another title. Never mind the economic stimulus a championship would give Cleveland. It’s not the Skip Baylesses and El Presidentes. Nope, it was that one girl who called him a P-A-B after Game 2. Now that would be legendary. That’s when we could start comparing him to Jordan – knowing how MJ would pour over newspaper clippings for even the teensiest bit of motivation to cut somebody’s heart out. Fingers crossed that he references her, because that’s next level.

Here’s the main question I’m wondering in regards to this video: does it go viral if LeBron doesn’t stop and the usher doesn’t drop a two-piece “Watch your mouth, woman!”? My gut says no – it’s just the billionth dumb heckler caught on tape, and we move along. Alas, such is the way of the viral Internet world.
