Matthew Dellavedova is already back to drinking coffee
By Ian Levy
Matthew Dellavedova has had a pre-game tradition for many years of drinking a coffee or two before games. However, before Game 4 of the 2015 NBA Finals, Dellavedova decided that pre-game coffee was no longer for him.
This is a huge move for the Austalian point guard, as messing with an NBA player’s pre-game ritual is something that could throw everything out of whack. All of a sudden left is right, east is west, and 3-point jumpshots stop falling down. Well, Delly quickly realized his mistake after a horrible first half, and it looks like he’s already back on the good stuff.
As a coffee drinker myself, I can confirm that nothing gives a better boost of energy than a nice cup of coffee. That said, running around on the stuff sounds like a one way trip to vomitville. It’s amazing that Delly can stomach the stuff throughout an entire NBA game, and it’ll be interesting to see if he manages to keep it all down after chugging the stuff at halftime.
He started the half by draining two 3-pointers. THE COFFEE GIVES HIM SUPER STRENGHTH! Except, he also had to come out rather quickly due to cramps and dehydration. Bad side effect to coffee is that it can easily dehydrate the drinker.
